Adam Marcus Leads Robotic Drawing Workshop at UVA

On March 23 and 24, Adam Marcus and Andrew Kudless (co-curators of the the exhibition "Drawing Codes: Experimental Protocols of Architectural Representation, Volume II," joined Melissa Goldman of the University of Virginia School of Architecture’s FabLab to lead a two-day workshop on robotic drawing. Using the School’s 6-axis Kuka robot arm, Marcus, Kudless, and Goldman worked with a group of UVA Architecture students to investigate procedural logics of computational and robotic drawing inspired by work in the exhibition, which opened on March 18 at the School’s Elmaleh Gallery.
