On November 6-8, Adam Marcus participated in the 2025 ACADIA conference “Computing for Resilience,” hosted by Florida International University and University of Miami. During the conference, Marcus’s paper “Hygroscopic Envelope: 3D Printed Ceramic Building Enclosures for Stormwater Detention” (co-authored with Liz Camuti, Tsz Yan Ng, Wes McGee, and Evgueni Filipov) was presented by Prof. Camuti, and related work on 3D printed ceramics was exhibited in the conference’s peer-reviewed exhibition. Marcus also joined his co-author Andrew Kudless to present the book Drawing Codes: Experimental Protocols of Architectural Representation at the conference’s Book Forum, and he served as moderator for the Field Notes session of papers.
